Resumo

O MITO AMAZÔNICO DE HONORATO E CANINANA: UM JEITO BRASILEIRO DE EXPLICAR O SYZYGY

RESUMO

 

Este ensaio explora o significado dos arquétipos Anima e Animus através do mito amazônico de Honorato e Caninana. Os mitos são narrativas arquetípicas e, como tal, têm uma natureza arbitrária. Alguns dos mitos são classificados como cosmológicos, pois descrevem a criação de novos mundos como novas realidades. O mito de Honorato e Caninana se enquadra nessa categoria e os mesmos motivos encontrados nesse mito também foram encontrados em outros mitos em todo o mundo antigo. Esse ensaio também destaca a importância dos mitos como uma ferramenta terapêutica.

Biografia do Autor

Hannah Yakovah Hennebert, Saybrook University

Hannah Hennebert is originally from Manaus, Brazil. She holds a BA in Language Arts, English and Respective Literatures from the Federal University of Rondonia, Brazil and a MA in Counseling from Eastern Mennonite University. Hannah is currently a PhD candidate in Psychology with concentration in Jungian Studies. at Saybrook University. She has been working as a counselor/psychotherapist for the past 8 years. During this time, Hannah has presented in several conferences in the U.S., Europe, and South America. Hannah began her career as an elementary school teacher at the Instituto Laura Vicunã, in Porto Velho, Brazil. She also taught in several colleges in the state of Rondônia and during 2 years she was an adjunct professor at the Federal University of Rondonia. Hannah is interested in Depth Psychology, fairy tales, mythology, neuroscience, and post-colonial literature.
