The Amazon rainforest has always been the target of many foreign explorers in search of the extraction of wealth, always bearing in mind the return to their places of origin. These explorers, on returning to their countries, ended up describing the Amazon rainforest from their point of view and not from the natives, creating myths and legends that moved the imagination of hundreds of their readers, causing many to venture into the unknown forest. This article will analyze the representations of men and women built by a Brazilian in the early 20th century, in the Maibi tale. To do so, a clipping of these representations will be made.
